The hazards of psychological harassment in the workplace and beyond

Linda and Anneke will provide an overview of the definition of workplace psychological harassment (bullying), and legislation in Nova Scotia and other provinces. They will also share strategies to assist social workers either experiencing workplace bullying or assisting others at any stage of this workplace psychological hazard.


Linda Crockett, MSW, RSW, SEP, CCPA

Linda completed her master’s degree in clinical social work with a specialty in workplace harassment and bullying, and completed additional training at the Workplace Bullying Institute in the USA. She has been a professional social worker for over three decades, and is the founder of the Canadian Institute of Workplace Bullying and Harassment Resources.

Anneke Baker MSW, RSW

Anneke is now a certified trainer for the Canadian Institute of Workplace Bullying and Harassment Resources. Anneke has hands on work experience assisting leaders, HR, unions, and staff, dealing with cases of bullying, harassment, discrimination, racism and more. Anneke is also the owner and operator of ABK Integral Resources Inc., providing consultation and a variety of training topics for employers and employees (individual or groups) from all professions and industries in Medicine Hat, Brooks, and Southern Alberta.
